Round the World in Children’s Books – Zoom Event
This event will be held on Zoom on Wednesday 27th March 2024 at 7pm
We are kicking off our 2024 events with a round of recommendations of children’s books from around the world.
IBBY members and some specially invited guests will be talking about books they would like everyone to know about: books in translation; books they believe should be translated; and books in English which originated outside the United Kingdom.If there is a book that you would like to talk about at this event, please email Ann Lazim (annlazim@googlemail.co.uk) with your ideas by Monday 18th March.Click here to register for the event (free for members) and get the Zoom link through Eventbrite.
While the above event will feature books originally written in a variety of languages, the next Round the World in Children’s Books will focus on books first published in Spanish.
