Joe Todd Stanton grew up in Brighton and was taught to draw by his mother who is also an illustrator.
He studied at UWE Bristol, receiving a first-class degree in Illustration. He is the author and illustrator of works including The Secret of Black Rock, Brownstone’s Mythical Collection and A Mouse Called Julian. As well as writing and illustrating books for Flying Eye Books, Joe has also been commissioned to work for clients such as Oxford University Press, Bloomsbury and Usborne Publishing.
