IBBY Silent Books 10th Anniversary Camp, Lampedusa, 22-29 October 2022
2022 is the 10th anniversary of the IBBY Italia Silent Books Project and the annual camp for volunteers will be held at the end of October
The library on Lampedusa is continuing to grow in importance. The flow of migrants who make their way across the Mediterranean has not slowed down. The library opened its doors on 16 September 2017 and has not closed since. Deborah Soria as the project initiator and IBBY Italy work hard to make the library a success and have organized another wonderful working camp – the 10th – for us to feel connected with this project.
