IBBY 2020 Honour List published

The IBBY Honour List is a biennial selection of outstanding, recently published books, honouring writers, illustrators and translators from IBBY member countries. The IBBY Honour List is one of the most widespread and effective ways of furthering IBBY’s objective of encouraging international understanding through children’s literature.

The 2020 catalogue includes a wonderful selection of books from around the world. Nominations were received from 60 national sections in 48 languages. The collection will be introduced at Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2021.

Congratulations again to the UK nominees: Catherine Johnston, Denise Muir and Chris Naylor-Ballesteros (who has produced our annual Christmas card this year).
