BIB (Bratislava Illustration Biennale) 2021
Nominations needed for the UK entries to the 2021 Bratislava Illustration Biennale
Details for the 2021 BIB have been announced. The exhibition will run from 15 October 2021 to 9 January 2022. Entries have to made by 30 April 2021 and all works submitted by 31 May.
The UK nominating body – a joint committee of IBBY UK and the International Centre for the Picture Book in Society (ICPBS) at Worcester University – can select up to 15 illustrators and also nominate to the competition jury. Please do let us know if you would be interested in being a jury member or your ideas for nominations.
The theme of the International Symposium BIB 2021 which accompanies BIB is: COMICS IN THE CURRENT PICTURE BOOK FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
This will run on 16 and 17 October. If you wish to submit a proposal for a paper then contact us for details.
